Sergios Ambariotis '78

Sergios Ambariotis was born in Athens, Greece and graduated from Athens College in 1978. He obtained a BSc from Imperial College in 1981 and an MSc from Stanford University in 1982. A mechanical engineer by education, he has been active in the Energy and Facilities Management sectors in Greece and abroad since 1985. He has founded and served as CEO of two companies with major presence in those sectors in Greece, ENERTA SA and ALPHA POWERTEC SA (currently GEK Services SA) respectively. Furthermore, he has served as Board member in various major greek contracting conglomerates. Since his graduation he has always remained very close to Athens College and has served as fund drive class agent (1986-1994), General Secretary of the Athens College Alumni Association- SAKA (1999-2003) and Chairman of SAKA’s Board of Directors (2005-2009). Since 2009, he is a member of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation.
