About Elli Andriopoulou

She graduated from Athens College in 1993. From 1987 to 1993, she was a member of the Greek National Water Ski Team and was decorated Champion of Greece and the Balkans. In 1997 she received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Deree, The American College of Greece and in 2001 a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in the US.

From 2000 to 2003, she worked at Oliver Wyman, Boston as a business consultant in matters of strategy, growth and marketing.  In 2004, she returned to Greece and assumed several executive positions at Citibank, starting in Networking, Operations and Marketing and working her way up to General Marketing Director in 2011.

Since 2012, she has held several executive positions at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) and in June 2020 was appointed Chairwoman and Managing Director of the SNFCC.

In 2021, she was elected member of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation. 

She has two daughters who attend the College (Elementary and Junior High School).

On Friday, October 23, 2020, Elli Andriopoulou ’93 gave a speech at the Investiture Ceremony of Athens College President, Professor Costas Synolakis ’75. In an emotional speech, she talked about her career path from her days as a student here at the College to today, at the helm of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
