The Coral class makes an inquiry into jewelry and the arts

Feb 18, 2022
As part of the inquiry into the transdisciplinary theme, How We Express Ourselves, students in the Coral class were visited by a parent via Microsoft Teams who spoke to them about her profession as a jeweler. More specifically, the students became communicators and wanted to learn how a piece of jewelry is designed, created and how the designer finds the proper materials. Next, they discussed the differences among a jeweler, a goldsmith and a salesman. Finally, the student and her mother showed pieces of jewelry they had created together. Students were encouraged to use the shrink paper technique to create their own jewelry.
We warmly thank her.
