As part of the Kindergarten educational program “Guest Speaker of the Month”, Ms. Iris Samartzi, writer and book illustrator, visited the Swordfish class on Tuesday, November 2. 

Ms. Samartzi spoke about the profession of the book illustrator, in relation to the fairy tale she has written titled “Tata”. She also answered students’ questions on how book covers and books are made, how we illustrate books, and what new book Ms. Samartzi is currently working on. Finally, students had the opportunity to become book illustrators themselves, drew the house of their dreams and came up with a narrative related to their drawing and discuss the value of friendship.
