The second interdisciplinary unit of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) gives students the opportunity to explore “How the world works”.

The Central Idea of the second interdisciplinary unit is “The physical world around us affects everything we do”. Our students will explore the connection between the characteristics of the Ancient Greek gods in Mythology with the weather (CONNECTION), they will learn about the changes that happen in their lives due to the weather (CHANGE) and they will identify the actions that humans can take in order to address extreme weather phenomena (FUNCTION).
