Dear Parents,

The second interdisciplinary unit of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) gives students the opportunity to explore different aspects of “How we organize ourselves”.

The Central Idea of the second interdisciplinary unit is “People create rules in order to live harmoniously with each other”. Students will examine the different reasons that lead us to create rules (CAUSATION), the form these rules take in each context (FORM), and why it is necessary for all of us to agree to follow them (FUNCTION).
