Celebrations for the Athens College Founders' Day began with a memorial prayer in honor of the School's great founders and benefactors held at the Church of the Holy Archangels. Members of the School's Administration and Management, students, and teachers were in attendance. The service was conducted by His Grace Bishop Isidoros of Andida, Athens College Class of 1993 alumnus, and the priests of our School.

The important role of those who contributed to the creation of the School was highlighted by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation (HAEF), Mr. Alexis Phylactopoulos '65, Athens College President Professor Spiros N. Pollalis and the former President of HAEF, Mr. Alexandros Samaras '67.

The service was followed by events in all school units.

October 18 has been established as the Athens College Founders' Day. The School was inaugurated on October 18, 1925, and classes started on the following day.
