In a world increasingly shaped by Artificial Intelligence, where the field of education is changing rapidly, our School is taking significant steps that contribute directly and decisively to its digital transformation:

• We embrace the benefits of AI. We equip our teachers with tools that improve their everyday work. Our teachers use AI to design and organize their instruction.
• We prepare our students for the age of AI. We give them the skills to use it responsibly and to protect themselves from the risks it poses. That is why they receive clear guidance on how to use it when they study at home.
• We encourage dialog and communication between students and their teachers. Classes are taught without personal electronic devices. Technology supports both lesson preparation and lesson delivery, while classroom time places strong emphasis on developing critical thinking, dialog and the student–teacher relationship.
• We are changing how we assess. We place greater weight on oral examinations and in-class assessment, which authentically show what each student has learned.
• We collaborate with other educational institutions in a spirit of openness.

All of these initiatives are supported by the “Athens College AI Center", which aims to equip the entire educational community of our School with the necessary knowledge about this new technology.
