Students in Elementary School Grades 4, 5, and 6 met this year’s Fulbright Fellows, Ms. Julia Rocio Carpio and Ms. Laney Kathleen Hawkins, who will be joining our community throughout the school year.

During a lively discussion in English, students learned more about the Fellows’ studies, families, interests, and lives in the United States. They also had the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.

This first meeting marked the start of a wonderful collaboration and gave students the chance to engage with American culture firsthand. The connection will continue throughout the school year.
