Apostolos Vasilikos, a High School Grade 3 student at Athens College, distinguished himself at the 39th Panhellenic Chemistry Competition 2026, organized by the Association of Greek Chemists. He placed 5th nationwide, achieving high scores in both the first and second rounds of the competition.

The first round was held online on Sunday, March 1, 2026, and the second in person on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the Association of Greek Chemists' headquarters. The purpose of the competition is to promote and cultivate “chemical thinking,” identify new talent, and support it in established international competitions, such as the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO).
