On Wednesday, June 3, as part of the transdisciplinary theme “Sharing the Planet,” Grade 1 students took part in a special creative activity. Working collaboratively, the children created a vibrant underwater scene on a long roll of paper that stretched along the Grade 1 hallway.

With creativity, bright colors, and a strong sense of teamwork, they painted fish, corals, sea plants, turtles, and many other marine creatures, creating a unique work of art. Through this activity, the students had the opportunity to express themselves creatively, collaborate, and develop an understanding of the importance of protecting marine ecosystems.

The colorful seabed they created transformed our school hallway and served as a beautiful reminder that we all share the same planet—and the responsibility to care for it.
