J.M. Carras Kindergarten students participated in the educational program “Journey to Freedom,” organized by ANIMA, the Association for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Wildlife, at Koutalas on Mount Hymettus in the municipality of Vyronas. Through hands-on activities, experiential games, and guided discussion, the students explored the importance of protecting nature and wildlife. Students practised Thinking and Research skills as they had the opportunity to observe various animals up close, including turtles and small birds that had been rehabilitated by ANIMA, and participated in their release back into the wild.
