Athens College Junior High School - Award-winning students of the 86th Panhellenic Mathematics Competition “Euclid”

The award-winning students from Athens College Junior High School, recognized for their distinction in the 86th Panhellenic Student Mathematics Competition “Euclid,” organized by the Hellenic Mathematical Society, are as follows:

Junior High School Grade 2: Anagnostopoulou Sotiria, Georgopoulou Eleni-Paraskevi , Psalti Aliki, Sakellariou Alexandros, Stavrou Margarita

Junior High School Grade 3: Misthos Alexandros, Papaspyrou Athanasios, Rozakis Andreas-Athanasios, Tsoukalas Angelos

The Hellenic Mathematical Society organizes the annual Panhellenic Student Mathematics Competition in four successive rounds, which ultimately lead to the selection of the Greek teams representing the country in international mathematics competitions. The four rounds of the competition are, in order: “THALES,” “EUCLID,” “ARCHIMEDES,” and the PRELIMINARY COMPETITION.

For the second round, “Euclid,” the Competition Committee awards First, Second, and Third Prizes to the students from the Prefecture of Attica who achieve the highest scores per grade in the “Euclid” competition.

The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the AULA Amphitheater of the School of Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Zografou Campus, Olof Palme entrance)
