The pilot implementation of the lesson plans developed by the English Department as part of the Erasmus+ programme "Greening our Curriculum – Greening our Schools" (2024-2-SE01-KA210-SCH-000280611), in which our School collaborates with partners from Slovenia and Sweden, has officially begun.

Lesson plans aligned with SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals were successfully implemented in Elementary School Grade 1 English classes.

Students explored the concept of active citizenship through the idea "We work together for the common good" (SDG 17). After reading "We're All in the Same Boat," they worked in small groups to take action and send their own messages.

In another activity, students "gave voice" to the robots they had drawn—robots who chose to collaborate to save our planet.

The pilot program will continue in additional classes over the coming period. Its broader aim is to share these educational lesson plans and best practices, supporting their dissemination and use in schools across Europe.
