Regional Scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year
As part of the Athens College Regional Scholarship Program, scholarships are awarded each year to students from various regions of Greece who successfully participate in the High School Grade 1 Admissions Exams.
Specifically for the year 2026-2027, the following scholarships will be awarded:
- Two (2) Scholarships for Achaea and Elis in the Region of Western Greece
- Two (2) Scholarships for the South Aegean Region (one for any area of the South Aegean and one for Kos or Rhodes)
- Two (2) Scholarships for the Peloponnese, with priority given to Laconian Mani and Messinia
- One (1) Scholarship for Crete
- One (1) Scholarship for Epirus
- One (1) Scholarship for the North Aegean Region
Regional scholarships cover 100% of tuition fees, school books, and school bus transportation. If the family is unable to accommodate the scholarship recipient in Athens and there is a documented need, the possibility of granting an additional annual allowance to cover accommodation will be assessed.
For Regional Scholarship candidates participating in the Admissions Exams on Saturday, March 21, 2026, the College will cover the travel/accommodation expenses in Athens for the students and one accompanying person.
Regional Scholarship Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Distinction in the Admissions Exams
- Documented financial need (submission of all required financial and other supporting documents to the Scholarship Office)
- "Excellent" conduct (annual conduct grade in Junior High School Grades 1 and 2)
In addition to the above-mentioned Regional Scholarships, the College offers Financial Support Scholarships and Excellence Scholarships for students who pass the admissions exams for High School Grade 1.
