On Friday, January 16, 2026, the final round of the Three Hierarchs Oratory Competition for High School Grade 1 students took place at the Athens College Theater.

Stamatina Katsiba was awarded the "THREE HIERARCHS" Prize for the 2025-2026 school year, while Student Christina Terzaki took second place in the competition.

The students competed in an oratory exercise on the following theme:

"Nothing is brighter than a virtuous life, my dear. This is stated by one of the wise men: 'The paths of the righteous shine like light.'"

The Three Hierarchs, as teachers and Fathers of the Church, are timeless models of virtuous living.

Drawing on the life and teachings of the Three Hierarchs, which virtues can guide young people today to become well-rounded individuals?

The panel of judges included Ms. Eirini Kasapi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Theology, School of Theology NKUA; Mr. Ioannis A. Panagiotopoulos, Chair of the Department of Theology, School of Theology, NKUA; and Ms. Ioanna Savvinidou, Philologist and Director of the High School (Greek section) at the Hellenic-French School "Eugène Delacroix."
