With pride and emotion, our school honored the national holiday of October 28 through events that highlighted the ideals of freedom, unity, and peace.

On Thursday, October 23, 2025, the Flag Handover Ceremony took place, led by our Director, Ms. Villy Pavlou. All classes gathered at the Flag Area for the traditional ceremony, held with respect and emotion in honor of our national symbol and the ideals it represents.

On Friday, October 24, 2025, the Student Community Events for the October 28 Anniversary were held.

Athens College Elementary School Grade 6 students participated in a joint parade with the Psychico College Elementary School at the Alexandros Athanasiadis Stadium, in the presence of students, teachers, and parents. This was followed by the day's commemorative speech, delivered by teacher Ms. Maria Karangelou.

Afterwards, all students had the opportunity to watch the performance "Greeks to Arms," a moving dramatization by the students of section 5c, dedicated to the heroes of 1940 and the timeless message of freedom and resistance.
