Students from the Athens College - Psychico College Elementary Spanish Department celebrated Día de la Hispanidad.

Through a variety of activities, students:

• Learned about Christopher Columbus's voyage to the Americas and the motivations behind his journey.
• Built their own carabelas, inspired by Columbus's historic ships.
• Explored the first encounters between Europeans and the Indigenous peoples of the new continent.

The students experienced the spirit of Día de la Hispanidad with imagination, creativity, and curiosity, bringing Columbus's journey to life through their own eyes!
