The ancient drama revived at the Latseion Theatre! Students of Grade 4 performed comedies and tragedies of the great poets of antiquity to the stage, spreading enthusiasm among the audience. The plays Eirene, Troades, The Vultures, Oedipus Tyrant, Nefeles, and Ploutos were performed with respect to their weighty, timeless messages, enriched with touches of contemporary perspective. Surely, from somewhere high up in the theater box, Aristophanes, Euripides, and Sophocles also applauded our children, satisfied and proud of their effort!
