J.M.Carras Kindergarten has been collaborating with the NGO Axion Hellas in an important effort to enrich school libraries on the Greek islands that lack books and resources. Through participation in the program “Sending Books in Remote Islands”, students offer books they no longer need. In this way, a love of reading is fostered.
In April, students will be collecting new or second-hand books that are well-preserved from March 20 to April 12, 2024. These books will be transferred by Axion Hellas to Amorgos, Kimolos and Astypalaia islands accompanied by beautiful drawings wishing the children to enjoy reading them.
