On Monday, December 4, 2023, Athens College hosted the 10-year anniversary celebration of the Fulbright/Athens College Fellowship Program. The event was held at the Athens College Theater and was attended by Athens College and Psychico College High School students.

Welcome remarks were given by Athens College President Professor Spiros N. Pollalis, the US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Ms. Maria Olson and Fulbright Greece Executive Director Ms. Artemis Zenetou.

The event featured an interactive presentation prepared by the current Fulbright Fellows who highlighted the educational and cultural values of the program, videos of past Fellows who shared their experience at our School, and a performance by the College Unplugged Orchestra.

Closing remarks were given by Ms. Maria Vergos, Coordinator of the Fulbright /Athens College Fellowship Program and Director of the University Applications Counseling Office, who noted that this educational partnership has flourished through shared dedication and a common vision for excellence.
