Each year on November 11, Germany celebrates St. Martin's Day (Sankt Martin) or simply the lantern festival (Laternenfest). When it gets dark, children take to the streets with lanterns and sing traditional songs. On this occasion, Grade 6 students met with their fellow students from Grade 1 holding lanterns and singing songs dedicated to Saint Martin and presented his life with the help of a poster they had prepared. They also showed them how to make their own lanterns and offered them sweets and pictures to paint the life of St. Martin. Many thanks to the English teachers for their help.
