Psychico College Junior High School ecoCash team won 1st Prize and Best Presentation Prize in the 3rd Panhellenic Student Entrepreneurship Competition with Focus on Sustainable Development.

The competition was held online on May 7, 2023 with the participation of 118 Junior High Schools and High Schools from all over Greece.

The ecoCash team was comprised of the Environmental Club students Matrakidi Maria-Danai, Michalopoulou Melina, Tachmatzopoulos Pantelis and Chatzigianni Zoi.

Under the guidance of their supervising teacher Ms. Angeliki Zoupa, the students presented a home waste collection service based on the 5 Rs of zero waste management. This service aims to radically change the way we look at our waste, using an AI mobile app, offering integrated waste management services and a whole network of stores following the principles of circular economy.
