On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, Athens College Grade 6 students, together with their mentor-teachers, presented the PYP Exhibition at Bodossakeio, and shared with the school community - parents, teachers, classmates - their findings, ideas, and actions as part of the Interdisciplinary Unit ‘How we express ourselves’.

Parents attended a variety of research groups and admired the children's projects over the course of a two-hour period in different parts of the School. The children, hesitant at first, but with more ease as time passed, presented the process of how they conducted their research on the ways in which we discover and express ideas, feelings, values, beliefs, and cultural traits. They demonstrated that they have developed skills related to the process, such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and the use of technology. They also demonstrated that they explored ways of expanding human creativity, and, in the end, chose their own unique and original ways of expressing themselves.
