On Wednesday, January 18, 2023 a Blessing of the Waters Ceremony took place at our School at the “Athinoula Martinou” Swimming Pool in Kantza.

Father Ioannis Lamprou officiated the ceremony, with members of the School Direction and Administration in attendance, as well as 8 Athens College and Psychico College Elementary School students who dived in the pool to retrieve the cross. Students of all grade levels of the Elementary watched the ceremony live from their classrooms.

Chairwoman of the Board of Directors Ms. Annika Papantoniou and Athens College President Professor Costas Synolakis ’75 offered gifts to the students.
