Three teams from Psychico College High School Young Entrepreneurship Club successfully qualified in the Sumbission Round Judging of the 4th Diamond Challenge, held online on Saturday, February 26. Our teams won 1st and 2nd place.

The Diamond Challenge is a competition for High School students from all over the world under the auspices of the University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship, which gives a unique opportunity to students to enrich their entrepreneurial culture, putting their ideas to action.

Students formed teams of 2-4 members and submitted their ideas for Social Innovation. Qualifying teams from each country will compete in the final round of the Diamond Challenge Summit which will be held at the University of Delaware in April 2022.  

The three competing teams of Psychico College High School Young Entrepreneurship Club were:

1. FutureFarmers – 1st place

Students: Niki Mazioti (Grade 10), Anna Lyberopoulou (Grade 10), Ioanna Lekkou (Grade 10), Amalia Christina Toutziaridi  (IB1)

2. RECREWTED - 2nd place

Students: Sofronia Effrosyni Voudouri (IB1), Alexandros Isaak David (IB1), Evangelia Voulgari (IB1), Alkiviadis Ioannis Toutziaridis (IB1)

3. Hereforyourneeds

Students: Eleni Dimitropoulou (Grade 10), Stamatios Chrysikos (Grade 10), Christina Politou (Grade 10), Charalabos Chatzopoulos (Grade 10)

Teachers-advisers of the Young Entrepreneurship Club are Mr. Thanos Karamitsas, Ms. Eleni Markopoulou and Mr. Panagiotis Statiris.

Team FutureFarmers will represent Greece in the final round of the Diamond Challenge Summit on April 21-23, 2022 at the University of Delaware in the USA, in accordance with all COVID-19 safety regulations.
