Psychico College Elementary School 4th Grade End of Year Celebrations

Jul 15, 2021

As part of the 4th grade end of year celebrations for 2020-2021, students prepared and presented excerpts from Ancient Greek comedies, tragedies and satirical dramas.

Ancient theater was undoubtedly one of the most refined forms of spiritual expression. Speech, music, dance and stage reality were the most suitable components to promulgate the greatness of Ancient Greek writers’ educational practices.  The cultivation and molding of the citizen’s consciousness, of social groups and of the City-State illuminated the most powerful and timeless values that accompany the intention behind every human act.

Because of the excellent collaboration between students and teachers and despite the daily difficulties and unexpected circumstances, this project was a crowning success, managing to raise awareness, cultivate young minds and move souls.
