The IBDP Arts Exhibition 2021
A virtual exhibition of artwork prepared by International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Year 2 students as part of their Fine Arts and Theater Arts courses took place on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
The exhibition is an annual event held by IBDP seniors taking Art Department courses. It gives them an opportunity to showcase their work, which reflects their personal perspective of the contemporary world. Due to the prevailing conditions this year, a virtual exhibition was created that included separate exhibitions by each student, which were curated by the students themselves.
Psychico College High School Director, Mr. Panagiotis Giannoulatos, welcomed all the guests that participated in this livestreamed event.
The event began with prologues by Athens College President, Prof. Costas Synolakis ΄75, IB Programmes Director, Ms. Eleni Vasileiou, and IBDP Coordinator, Mr. Antonios Apostolou.
The students presented their works and explained their theme. Student-artists, on the other hand, were introduced by IBDP Arts Coordinator and teacher of Fine Arts and Film, Ms. Victoria Karvouni, and Theater Arts teacher, Ms. Amalia Arseni.
