Last week, our School’s Drama Club presented the performance “Because We Are Family! That’s Why!”, filling the theater with truth, deep emotion, and children's voices.

The play was performed for all grades of the School on Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24, while on Friday afternoon, our entire community had the opportunity to enjoy this particularly moving experience.

The play is based on the children’s own words and thoughts and explores what family means: stability, security, care, and love. Values that are not limited to blood ties, but also exist in school, in friendship, and in the people we choose and who choose us back. Through love letters, anonymous notes, and shared experiences, the personal becomes collective, and the audience recognizes something of themselves on stage.

Notably, the performance was also presented in Greek Sign Language, with the invaluable contribution of Ms. Sofia Roboli, making the experience accessible to deaf children and actively reinforcing the message of inclusion.

This performance does not simply tell a story. It tells the story of life, as the children see it, feel it, and share it.

Warm congratulations to all the students of the Drama Club, as well as to everyone who supported and accompanied this unique theatrical experience.
