Lecture by Dr. Stavropoulou to students at Psychico College High School

As part of the School's ongoing efforts to engage students with contemporary developments in chemistry through presentations by distinguished scientists, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, students of Class B3 at Psychico College High School attended an online lecture by Dr. Eleni Stavropoulou titled "Geological CO₂ Storage." The lecture aimed to familiarize students with an innovative approach to mitigating the climate crisis, highlighting the critical role of interdisciplinary collaboration between Chemistry, Geology, and Engineering in addressing pressing environmental challenges.

Dr. Eleni Stavropoulou is an Assistant Professor at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in the Geotechnical Engineering Department of the School of Civil Engineering. She is also a researcher at the Laboratory of Soil Mechanics (LMS) at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne).
