Athens College High School - "Product/Service Innovation" Award at the Athens Student Trade Fair for the "Mock Business" program
On Friday, March 20, 2026, the team from the Athens College High School’s “Mock Business” Elective Afternoon Program participated in the Athens Student Trade Fair, organized by JA Greece, at The Mall Athens.
The mock business “Fire Guard,” developed by all students in the program, was represented at the Trade Fair by High School Grade 1 and 2 students: A. Araniti, I. Dimopoulos, I. Georgopoulos, D. Karagiannis, S. Katsiba, C. Roupa-Pantaleon, S. Roupas-Pantaleon, A. Tsotsopoulos, and Z.-M. Veracha. Working under the guidance of their teachers and advisors, Mr. F. Kanavos and Mr. K. Korakas, the students won the “Product/Service Innovation” award for “Fire Guard”, presenting a comprehensive system for the prevention, detection, and immediate response to fires in the electrical grid, designed for high-risk areas such as forests, industrial facilities, and energy infrastructure.
