As part of the inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit, Where We Are in Place and Time, with the central idea, “Celebrations and traditions connect us to our history and culture”, kindergarten students practiced social and communication skills as they welcomed Ms. Sofia Kalogeropoulou, a renowned artist, and participated in a very special learning experience related to painting.
Ms. Kalogeropoulou talked to students about her work, her source of inspiration, and how she uses bright colors and pictures to create works of art that depict a short story related to Greek culture and traditions. Students became open-minded while using various materials to create their own paintings that tell a short story.

We warmly thank her!
