Mar 23, 2026

The 12th ACSTAC Student Science & Technology Conference, hosted at Anatolia College from Friday, March 20, 2026, through Sunday, March 22, 2026, concluded successfully. Students from our School participated in the Conference, accompanied by their teachers, Mr. Georgios Ververas and Ms. Chrysoula Rouga, presenting their research projects.

A particularly noteworthy distinction was achieved by Marina Giannakopoulou, a High School Grade 2 student at Athens College, who received the Physics Award in the oral presentation category for her research project titled: “From Heat to Power: Converting Energy Loss in Gasoline Cars into Electricity via the Seebeck Effect”, supervised by Ms. V. Giakoumopoulou.

Her work impressed the Conference judging committee, who praised both the originality and importance of the research topic, as well as its high scientific quality and excellent presentation.

Warm congratulations to the student for this significant achievement, and to all participating students from our School for their participation and outstanding presence at the Conference!
