Collaboration between Athens College and the University of Peloponnese for a Professional Postgraduate Program

We are delighted to announce that, as part of the institution of Professional Postgraduate Programs, Athens College is embarking on a new collaboration with the University of the Peloponnese, introducing an important innovation to Greece for the first time: the establishment of a Professional Postgraduate Program in Education Sciences and Pedagogy, offering multiple benefits to both secondary and tertiary education. The cooperation agreement was signed between Athens College and the Department of Social and Education Policy of the University of the Peloponnese on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the premises of Athens College.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the President of Athens College, Professor Spiros N. Pollalis; the Rector of the University of the Peloponnese and Professor in the Department of Social and Education Policy, Mr. Athanassios Katsis; and the Chairman and Professor of the Department of Social and Education Policy at the University of the Peloponnese, Mr. Athanassios Jimoyiannis. The signing ceremony was also attended by Mr. Konstantinos Dimopoulos, Professor in the Department of Social and Education Policy; Mr. Panagiotis Tsiotakis, Member of the Teaching Staff of the same Department; Ms. Anastasia Papakostopoulou, Director of the Office of the President of Athens College; as well as the team responsible for designing and organizing the cooperation agreement on behalf of Athens College: Ms. Eftychia Geronikolou, teacher at Athens College Junior High School and Head of the Teacher Training Office of Athens College; Mr. Christos Markou, Advisor for the Design and Certification of Postgraduate Programs; and Ms. Milka Chasioti, Lawyer and representative of the Legal Service of Athens College.
