The visit of Italian author Pierdomenico Baccalario to our school, organized by the Library, was a unique and unforgettable experience for all of us. From the very first moment, he won us over with his warm smile, his simplicity, and his genuine enthusiasm for books and writing.

During his presentation, he spoke about his life and his first steps in the world of literature. He shared the sources of his inspiration and emphasized the importance of imagination, observation, and a love of reading.

The presentation, which was held in English, was followed with great interest by our Grade 5 students, who participated actively throughout. The children also had the opportunity to ask the author questions and talk with him. With humor and patience, he answered every question, encouraging them to believe in their ideas and to express themselves creatively through writing.

This experience brought us closer to the magical world of literature and inspired us to love books even more.
