Feb 11, 2026
The 2026 Attica High School Debate Competition, organized for the first time this year by Athens College and Psychiko College High Schools, was successfully held on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
More than 90 speakers from public and private High Schools across Attica participated in the event. The team from Ellinogermaniki Agogi emerged as the winner of the Grand Final.
Our School's team achieved an impressive second place. Warm congratulations to our High School Grade 1 students: Louiza Kosti, Ioanna Magklara, Ilia Manesi, and Marianna Polemi.
The Best Speaker Award was presented to a student from the Ellinogermaniki Agogi team, while the Best Beginner Speaker Award was earned by a student from the Papagos-Cholargos Municipality rhetoric team.
The competition was organized with the active involvement of our school's Oratory Teams and with the valuable support of Teacher Advisors and coaches. Ms. K. Basli and Mr. V. Tsipopoulos were responsible for the event's overall coordination.
This Debate Competition is part of a broader program of activities designed by the College Greek Language Committee to promote Oratory in Greek. Starting next school year, the competition will be expanded and enriched with additional events.
Warm congratulations to all our students for their excellent organization efforts and for their enthusiastic participation in the competition!
