Grade 4 of Psychico College Elementary School had the special pleasure of exploring the rich and timeless history of the Olympic Games through an educational visit to the Athens Olympic Museum on Thursday and Friday, December 11 and 12. The students participated in short, interactive activities at selected points in the collection, encountering authentic exhibits, representations, and audiovisual material that brought the magic of both the ancient and modern Olympic Games to life.

Through experiential activities and discussion, the children understood the values of the Olympic Games, such as respect, fair play, and cooperation, while also discovering the importance of exercise and effort. Special mention was made of the Paralympic Games, where students learned about the contributions and achievements of athletes with disabilities, inspired by the stories of strength, perseverance, and equality that they represent.

This educational visit was a valuable learning and inspiration experience, strengthening the School's connection to culture and the values of sport.
