"J.M.Carras" Kindergarten Follows the Engineering Design Process
Dec 5, 2025
Kindergarten and pre-kindergarten students became engineers as they followed the Engineering Design Process, an educational program designed for the early years by the Boston Science Museum. Using the Engineering Design Process, students had the opportunity to discover what engineers do in order to solve real-life problems in a practical way through experimentation, planning, creating, and testing their constructions. Students experimented with ideas, tried out different materials, and discovered what worked well and what needed improvement. Students became real engineers and came up with solutions while using Thinking and Communication Skills.
