Psychico College Elementary School - Programming Club visits Microsoft
On Thursday, December 4, students in the Programming Club visited Microsoft's offices for a unique educational experience, accompanied by their Informatics teachers, Ms. Korda and Ms. Kontogeorgou. As soon as the students arrived, company representatives welcomed them warmly and began a detailed tour of the modern workspaces, presenting Microsoft's operating methods and philosophy. The visit continued with a particularly interesting presentation on artificial intelligence, through which the children learned about AI applications that facilitate our daily lives. This was followed by an engaging, educational activity through Microsoft Education. The students eagerly participated in a game that blends learning with fun, uses artificial intelligence, and offers the opportunity to experiment, create, and collaborate. Shortly before the end of the visit, the Microsoft team presented the students with certificates of participation and commemorative gifts, recognizing their active presence and interest. The children left excited, having gained valuable knowledge, new ideas, and inspiration to continue their involvement in technology and programming. We would like to thank Mr. T. Platsas, a parent to one of our students, for the hospitality, and Ms. E. Zaglaridou for the educational program.
