Six hundred and sixteen students from Athens College Elementary School participated in the international Bebras Challenge, a competition that promotes computational thinking and problem-solving skills.

This experience aligns perfectly with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), reinforcing inquiry, critical thinking, and the development of Learner Profile attributes such as:

✔ Inquirer – They explored new ideas and asked meaningful questions.

✔ Risk-taker – They confidently faced new challenges.

The Bebras Challenge takes place in more than 80 countries, and we are proud that our School joined this global community of innovation and digital literacy.

The competition was held under the auspices of:

Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs | Ministry of Digital Governance | General Secretariat for Research and Innovation | ATHENA Research & Innovation Center | Institute of Educational Policy | Archimedes | OpenAIRE | Bebras Greece | Greek Computer Society
