As part of the first transdisciplinary theme of the PYP, Grade 2 students are exploring the form of neighborhoods and the relationships that develop among the people who live in them.

On Friday, October 10, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Despotis, an architect, to our School. He spoke to the children about neighborhood architecture and design. Through his presentation, students learned key information that will help them better understand how neighborhoods are structured and guide their design of their own neighborhoods as part of their unit of inquiry.

The visit was a valuable experience that enriched the students' research and inspired creativity and collaboration.
