The students of section 6f at Athens College Elementary School enthusiastically participated in the 2nd Panhellenic Student Savings Competition, organized by the Hellenic Financial Literacy Institute on the occasion of World Savings Day (October 31).

The competition, titled "The Benefits and Power of Saving," aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of saving and developing financial literacy from an early age. Through a combination of multiple-choice questions and a short essay, students demonstrated skills such as critical thinking, goal-setting, organization, responsibility, collaboration, and creative expression.

Their participation strengthened their self-discipline and ability to make mature decisions, while providing an excellent opportunity to connect learning with everyday life, in line with the values of the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Teachers P. Fines and C. Leyteratos provided pedagogical guidance and support to the students, encouraging their participation with enthusiasm, consistency, and creativity.
