Celebrations for the Centennial Athens College Founders' Day began with a memorial prayer in honor of the School's great founders and benefactors held at the Church of the Holy Archangels. Members of the School's Administration and Management, students, and teachers were in attendance.

The important role of those who contributed to the creation of the School was highlighted by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation, Mr. Alexis Phylactopoulos '65, the former President of HAEF, Mr. Alexandros Samaras '67, and the President of Athens College, Professor Spiros N. Pollalis.

The service was followed by events in all school units.
