The inaugural meeting of the faculty members of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation School Units for the 2025-2026 academic year was held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Αthens College Theater.

Chairman of the HAEF’s Board of Directors Mr. Alexis Phylactopoulos ’65 gave the opening address, wishing everyone a fruitful new school year. President Professor Spiros N. Pollalis then presented the educational issues on which he focused during the previous school year and set his goals for the next one. He also referred to a series of events and activities planned as part of the Athens College Centennial celebrations.

Mr. Christos Konstantopoulos, Athens College Co-Director and Athens College High School Director, Mr. Panagiotis Giannoulatos, Psychico College Co-Director and Psychico College High School Director, and Ms. Tatiana Gouskou, Director of “J.M. Carras” Kindergarten presented the School's achievements for the previous academic year and the newly hired educators in their respective school units.

The inaugural meeting concluded with the presentation of our School's 13 Fulbright Fellows for academic year 2025-2026 by the President who announced that Ms. Vasiliki Mavrika, Interschool Head of English, is also appointed Coordinator of the Fulbright Fellowship Program.
