On Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, 2025, the Athens College High School Drama Club staged Aristophanes's comedy "Plutus", under the direction of Angeliki Gkirgkinoudi. This special anniversary production marked 100 years since the founding of Athens College and served as a tribute to theater legend Karolos Koun, who in 1936 was an English teacher at the College and directed a first performance of Plutus.

The performance featured a blend of current students and distinguished alumni artists, several of whom reprised their roles from the school's 2008 production of the play. These included Alexandros Chrysanthopoulos '09, Giannis Latousakis '09, Michalis Latousakis '09, Yiannis Niarros '09, and Dinos Psychogios '09, along with Sofia Lazaraki '14.
