On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, the annual “Athanasiadeia”, Athens College – Psychico College Elementary Schools’ Track & Field Meets in memory of Alexandros Athanasiadis, were held in Kantza. Ms. Annika Papantoniou, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, declared the opening of the event.

Fifteen commemorative plaques were awarded to Athens College – Psychico College Elementary School students who achieved new records, as well as to those who broke records during Athanasiadeia 2024.

240 students from Grades 3 to 6 participated.

2 new Athanasiadeia records and two new class records were achieved:

Long Jump

Michalis Dimitris (AC Grade 6) with 4.76m

Vortex Throw

Haris Konstantelos (PC Grade 6) with 44.83m, which is a new record for PC Grade 6

Psychico College Grade 4 Relay

Stefanos Karalis, Ioannis Katsoulis, Angelos Kypreos, Ioannis Lontos, Konstantinos Mamas, Leonidas Strigaris, with 47’’99
