Light up the way of our students’ path. Support the Athens College Financial Aid Program.
Challenges such as the current pandemic, demonstrate
how we are all affected by what is happening around us and
how important it is to act together. Giving and solidarity are the foundations and the power of Athens College. Supporting students who do not have
the financial means but have the audacity to change the world is
the most powerful gift. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of this School and for opening up paths that can make our dreams come true.

We hope this message finds you, your family and your team safe and that you continue to stay strong and resilient in these unprecedented times.

We would like to take the opportunity to convey our profound gratitude for your longstanding support of Athens College (AC). Your generosity has helped us to better serve the educational vision of our founders, including financial support for students whose families are in need.

Athens College values its ongoing partnership with you, as a member of the College family, and your company. Now more than ever, it is critical to increase the funds available for our students and to make sure that they are able to remain a part of our community. Last year alone, we were able to offer some form of financial assistance, to more than 1.000 students (including Covid-19 relief), almost 25% of our student body, of which 30% represents private gifts.

As you know, Athens College is a nonprofit organization. As such, we rely on tuition, endowment and generous donations from the greater AC community, including alumni, parents, corporations, foundations and friends. That is why we are asking you to “re-invest” in our students. Proud of the achievements of our alumni, we aspire to keep on empowering and grooming all of our students to become world citizens with a “growth mindset”. To watch them unleash their potential, reach heights of distinction, and use all the skills, values and knowledge attained at the College to spur change for a brighter tomorrow.

We need your support to ensure that the brightest students from all walks of life can enroll regardless of their ability to meet tuition costs and that no deserving student will have to withdraw from the College due to unexpected financial hardship. Creating a more diverse community of learners helps to broaden minds, bridge understanding, and enrich the lives of all College students.
