Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Dr. V. Papaevangelou, Speaks to College Community

As part of the series of measures taken by our School to deal with the pandemic, as well as its intent to provide valid and timely information to the College community, on Tuesday, April 13, at 7:00 p.m., we will be broadcasting via Zoom a talk by Dr. Vana Papaevangelou Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at UOA and Member of the Hellenic Committee of Experts on the COVID-19 pandemic. The title of her talk is:

“COVID-19: A year of pandemic. What do we know and what can we predict? The operation of schools. Prevention through vaccines.”

A discussion will follow with Pediatrician and Head of the College’s Medical Services, Dr. Antonios Makris, during which they will answer questions asked by the Schools' Parents' Associations about new data that has emerged one year after the onset of the pandemic in school settings, as well as prevention through vaccines.

Prof. Costas Synolakis ΄75, Academician and College President, and Ms. Eleni Sarantiti-Patsea, President of the Parents’ Association of Psychico College Elementary School, will prologue the event.
