Instructions for a Safe College Year
As part of the new reality imposed by the prevalence of the Delta variant of the coronavirus, our School is strictly adhering to State guidelines and is taking all necessary measures to protect the health of its students, teachers, staff and, in general, all those who visit our facilities. Unequivocal and complete observance of protection measures and a helping hand from all in this effort are necessary to maintain Athens College a safe environment.
All implemented measures are coordinated by the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation's (HAEF) Crisis Management Committee in collaboration with the School's Medical Services. HAEF’s internal policy regarding COVID-19 is regularly updated, depending on the latest developments and relevant State guidelines.
Please be informed that individuals can only access the HAEF facilities by demonstrating a COVID-19 vaccination certificate 14 days after its completion or a certificate issued 30 days after the individual tested positive for COVID-19, which is valid for 180 days.
In the following sections, you will find useful information about the daily operation of the School, which is carried out in accordance with directives issued by the Ministries of Health, Education and Religious Affairs, and Culture and Sports, as well as guidelines, as applicable, from the National Public Health Organization (EODY) for primary and secondary education. Over the course of the year, COVID-19 diagnostic testing for College students, parents, and employees wishing to undergo this procedure is possible at IASO Hospital. In order to take advantage of this, it is necessary to complete the relevant form (ΙΑΣΩ_ΚΟΛΛΕΓΙΟ ΑΘΗΝΩΝ).
