As part of the Interdisciplinary Unit “Where We Are in Place and Time,” students in the “Dolphin” section spoke to parents – architects using Microsoft Teams.  Practicing their thinking and communication skills, they wanted to learn about the different stages of building construction, the materials used for construction, and the role that architecture can play in protecting our plant. Using appropriate visual materials, the parents then answered the students’ questions about what architects design, what they need to study before starting work on a project, why buildings around the world are dissimilar, and how buildings can use different forms of energy to protect the environment.
